Durango with an added 00mph

Spread the love

Dodge has been known to provide the people with vehicles that are very powerful and aggressive, with its catchphrase “power to the people” and by power, they mean horsepower.

Their new line of vehicles aren’t so different, if not more powerful. With that said, they have just recently unveiled their new [2018 Dodge Durango] SRT which will later be released in the year.

The fastest 3-row SUV in the market

The new Dodge Durango SRT is quite possibly the quickest SUV in today’s market. Carrying around 475 horsepower coming from its 6.4 liter v8 engine and can go from 0 to 60 in just about under 4.5 seconds surely makes it the fastest one out there. It’s not only fast, it’s very capable as well with around 8,700 lbs of towing capacity, it can surely tow your speedboat to the lake with ease.

Uncontested performance

Since there are no SUVs with this caliber in the market, the Durango SRT will most likely enter the market uncontested. It gets you to haul up to 8,700 pounds faster than your regular three row seat SUV.

A ton of modes to choose from

This beast contains 8 driving modes which include sport, track, eco, tow and snow among others, fully customizable to your taste and driving in the Custom Mode which makes it easier for you to switch between preferred presets depending on the road you’re driving in. The only downside of the SRT is that you can’t really go off road with it or hit trails like the Rubicon but that’s ok, it’s still a very powerful SUV, by far the best in its category.

3 rows, it tows.

With a lot of horsepower under its engine, the Durango SRT can surely handle towing heavy things even with an added third row seating. It is probably the only SUV in its class that is capable of doing so and it does it without experiencing any problem whatsoever.

Fast, powerful and safe.

Aside from it being fast and powerful, it’s a safe vehicle to be in and drive with its size. It has blind spot monitoring as well as a rear cross traffic alert system, automatic emergency braking, lane-keep assistance and adaptive cruise control. Speed, power, safety and comfort all rolled into one massive beast.

All in all, the new 2018 Dodge Durango SRT has come far from the family car that that we were all familiar with, it is now more powerful, faster and looks more aggressive. This SUV looks like it might have been designed for the race track but it also belongs inside every family’s garage.
